Second Level .ec Domains now from 1 year
Second level .ec domain registrations like yourdomain.ec are registered for a two-year term; however starting July 1, 2005 will be possible to register them from 1 to 10 years.
Domains under .ec were launched on December 2003 and has become an excellent option following world trends to register directly under the country code.
Registrants that have a web page with a domain that ends in .com.ec or any of the other .ec extensions, now can use ecWebForward to redirect the web page to any other domain extension. If you already have your domain registered under any extension with .ec, it is convenient that you also have that name registered directly under .ec. Thus, other names that you plan to register, we recommend to do it in both options.
This now is easier with the option of one year and the option of ecWebForward.

ecWebforward lets you redirect or forward your .ec domains to an existing web page without creating different pages, so that several domains may respond for the same site. Your may forward to your main web page your domains with different extensions, domains with your services or brand names, or abbreviations. |
