The fees for non-Ecuadorians are considered for all the domain names whose Registrant or Administrative Contact is not Ecuadorian or organization registered in Ecuador. To Total fees without I.V.A., 12% IVA (VAT), Valued Added Tax must be added according to Ecuador Tax Law, including for non-Ecuadorians, resulting in Total fees with I.V.A. .

The fees described above apply only for registrations whose Registrant and Administrative Contact are Ecuadorians or Ecuadorian organizations registered in Ecuador according to NIC.EC Policies. To Total fees without I.V.A., 12% IVA (VAT), Valued Added Tax must be added according to Ecuador Tax Law, resulting in Total fees with I.V.A. .

Fees for gob.ec and mil.ec

The governmental and military entities of the Government and Army Force of Ecuador, are exempt for payment of domain registration and renewal fee, thus the fee is zero.

This exemption is only valid for the domains that these entities register under gob.ec and mil.ec.

Fees for domains transfers

When a domain is transferred from one Registrant to another, a fee of $25 will be payable (updated oct-1-2009). To this fee, 12% IVA, Valued Added Tax must be added according to Ecuador Tax Law, including non-Ecuadorians , resulting a Total with I.V.A. of $28.
